- Square (1:1): profile pictures and many social media posts.

Is it safe and private?
Yes. Your image is cropped entirely in your web browser on your own device, so it is never uploaded to a server or stored anywhere. This tool needs no outside libraries.
Good to know
- The crop keeps the original pixels, so the cropped picture is as sharp as the part you chose. Its size in pixels is shown as you adjust the box.
- The pixel numbers refer to the full-size image, even when the picture is shown smaller on your screen.
- JPG cannot be transparent, so transparent areas turn white when you save as JPG. PNG and WebP keep transparency.
- Animated GIFs are cropped using only their first frame.
- HEIC photos from some iPhones are not supported by most browsers. Safari can usually open them, or you can share them as JPG from your phone first.
- You can crop one image at a time, up to 100 MB. Your original file is never changed.
